Summary
In Buenos Aires, it has been raining incessantly for more than 1600 days. In the name of modernization life struggles against the current of a world of recession and corruption. A small troupe of actors caught between powerlessness and their passion for their art decide to fight against the demolition of their theatre. In addition to their everyday problems they must contend with personal conflicts, love, loneliness, creativity, and expectations. Max, the leader of the troupe, is a workaholic director who abandoned his family to build his career and is forced to confront the daughter he deserted. Amid political corruption and police brutality, Max's elderly colleague Enrique leads a protest for unpaid old-age pensions. The pensioners succeed in their demands, only to learn from a government official that no money is available to pay them. The Brazilian dancer Fulo worries about her daughter back home, and is driven to succeed so that she can bring her daughter from Rio de Janeiro
