Summary
Juan Sáyago returns to town after 18 years in prison for killing Raúl Trueba. Everyone warns him that Trueba's sons will take revenge, but he shrugs off the threat, claiming he just wants to live a quiet life. Many of his old friends and associates try to protect him while Trueba's sons harass him, attempting to provoke him into a duel.
