How many children actually understand the importance of farming to all of us?... that food does not miraculously appear on grocery store shelves, but needs to be planted, grown, processed, packaged and shipped? This program brings an awareness of these issues. It includes elements of social studies, history, science and vocabulary that are structured to fit into the 4th grade curriculum
