Summary
Rembrandt loses his wife and in his grief neglects his infant son. It is his apprentice who convinces Rembrandt to fulfill his parental duties. Finally understanding his own father, Rembrandt breaks with artistic convention to produce his masterpiece, "The Nightwatch."
