Summary
First conveyance, a 5 acre and 152 rod parcel, described with a metes and bounds description: "(starting at) a white oak sapling by the Highway to the Plains, thence south 13 degrees east 20 rods then south 31 degrees 40 rods then north70 degrees east 12 rods to the (said) Highway to the Plains, then (back to white oak sapling)."Second conveyance a 1/2 right of commonage in the Old Purchase "after the First and Second Divisions be fulfilled." Said 1/2 right "derived from Joseph Ludlam Sr. to his 2 sons Joseph and Charles Ludlam and from the said Joseph Ludlam and Charles Ludlam to my father John Wright, deceased, and from my father to me, Gideon Wright, his eldest son and heir-at-law, the survey for the above (two conveyances) entered in the Records of Oyster Bay in the new [illegilbe] Book A, folio 144 & 145."Witnessed by Penn Townsend and Daniel Parish; recorded in Book G, folio (page) 270 of by Oyster Bay, N.Y.
