Summary
An environmental thriller about American investors building an illegal dam in the Amazon. Thomas (Nelson), an investor in the controversial project, must travel to Brazil to help persuade Roberto (Olinto), an indigenous agency bureaucrat overseeing an environmental impact report, to support the dam's construction. Meanwhile, a 13-year-old indigenous Arara girl named Kamodjara (Xipaia), who is intent on protesting the dam, is separated from her father, kidnapped by sex traffickers and forced into prostitution. Thomas, falsely accused of involvement with the girl's abduction, joins in an effort to reunite her with family and becomes entangled in a tug-of-war with the indigenous people the dam would displace
