Między dwojgiem młodych ludzi wybucha fascynacja, zauroczenie od pierwszego spojrzenia. Hania i Johann zakochują się w sobie, choć zewsząd otacza ich nazizm, nienawiść, strach przed utratą bliskich, a także własnego życia. Hania pojawia się na niemieckich salonach formalnie jako narzeczona hrabiego. Wysoka ranga partnera zmusza ją do zapoznania się z przywódcami III Rzeszy. Dziewczynę werbują polskie władze z nadzieją, że będzie ona łączniczką w przekazywaniu im planów Hitlera w stosunku do Polski. Bohaterka znajduje się między młotem a kowadłem. Chce pozostać lojalną w stosunku do ukochanego, lecz jak ma pomóc swojej ojczyźnie? Barbara Wysoczańska ukazuje tamtejsze wydarzenia z perspektywy Polki zakochanej w przedstawicielu wrogiego narodu, a także z perspektywy nazisty, który dla ukochanej jest w stanie zrobić wszystko. Będą walczyć, lecz w pewnym momencie staną po przeciwnych stronach barykady. Jak potoczą się ich losy? Such a situation was presented in the book entitled "The Nazi's Bride" by Barbara Wysoczańska. It is a story about the love of two people in the face of war, people from opposite sides of the front. Hania Wolińska is a student of German philology. He earns money as a lady accompanying a certain German countess. One day she meets her grandson - Johann von Richter. A fascination breaks out between two young people, infatuation at first sight. Hania and Johann fall in love with each other, although they are surrounded by Nazism, hatred, fear of losing loved ones and their own lives. Hania appears in German salons formally as the count's bride. The high rank of her partner forces her to get to know the leaders of the Third Reich. The girl is recruited by the Polish authorities in the hope that she will be a liaison officer in communicating Hitler's plans towards Poland. The heroine is between the hammer and the anvil. She wants to remain loyal to her beloved, but how can she help her homeland? Barbara Wysoczańska shows the events there from the perspective of a Polish woman in love with a representative of a hostile nation, as well as from the perspective of a Nazi who is able to do anything for her beloved. They will fight, but at some point they will stand on opposite sides of the barricade. How will their fate turn out? Will unconditional love or loyalty to the nation win?
