- Summary
- Carbon nanotube-based field effect transistors (CNTFETs) show potential in the area of integrated amperometric sensors due to their high sensitivity (<ppm) to analytes, fast response times (seconds to minutes), and large surface area-to-volume ratios. This research demonstrates the design, fabrication, and testing of a CNTFET-based differential amplifier with the goal of achieving a nominal gain of 20 dB. Differential amplifiers possess the benefits of low noise, low distortion, and small signal amplification making them ideal for sensor applications. Building upon early results, methods for improving circuit design and device fabrication are explored
