Summary

Gunner begins a quest to save his ill mother by searching for a mythic figure who possesses the secret of immortality, the Water Man. He enlists the help of a mysterious local girl, Jo, and together they journey into the remote Wild Horse Forest - but the farther they go, the stranger and more dangerous the forest becomes. Their only hope for rescue is Gunner's father, who will stop at nothing to find them
