Summary
"In the Southwest in the 1920's, a young woman is found strangled in her bedroom. Her husband, Bryan Talbot, the town libertine, is found drunk and incoherent. He is arrested and subsequently convicted of murder by circumstantial evidence stemming from his frequent violent outbursts on the promiscuous conduct of his wife.
