Summary
Catherine Allen, author of a daring book, is obliged to leave the small town where she is teaching and goes to Sapulpa, Oklahoma, where she meets Jim Gardner, a prosperous oil operator, and Dan Somers, a cowboy. Both fall for her. Jim tries to lease oil rich land from the Indians, but Dan advises them not to. Wards of the government, the Indians ask Dan to take over the lease. Washington approves with the provision that Dan make a delivery of oil to Tulsa by a specified date. Despite interference from Jim and a misunderstanding with Catherine, Dan arrives in the nick of time. Dan and Catherine are reconciled and Jim decides to work with Dan
