Summary

Ted Bundy was sentenced to death by electrocution in 1980 and in the years following the sentence, he agreed to disclose the details of his crimes, but only to one man. During the early days of the FBI's criminal profiling unit, FBI analyst Bill Hagmaier met with the incarcerated Bundy to try and understand the psychology of the serial killer and provide closure for the victims' families. While delving into Bundy's dark and twisted mind, a strange and complicated relationship develops between Hagmaier and Bundy that neither man expected.
